2023 The 6th International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Intelligent Systems (CIIS 2023) was held at International Conference Center, Waseda University, Tokyo, Japan during November 25-27, 2023. The conference aims at addressing advances in research on computational intelligence and intelligent systems, covering topics ranging from enabling technologies to emerging applications and industrial experiences, to encourage researchers and practitioners to exchange and share their experiences.

The conference chair Prof. Tok Wang Ling fro National University of Singapore gave us an opening remarks. Prof. Yu Wang from Temple University, USA and Prof. Makoto Iwasaki from Nagoya Institute of Technology, Japan delivered interesting keynote speeches. Prof. Nizar Bouguila from Concordia University, Canada chaired the morning sessions.

The conference has received more than 130 submissions, after several rounds reviewing from review committees, there are about 50 papers accepted for presentations, and there are 7 oral sessions and one poster session. The topics including Special Session I: Railway operations, management, and planning, Special Session II: Evolutionary computation for industry and real-world applications, computing models and algorithms based on machine learning, data-driven image detection and information security, machine learning models and classification algorithms in image processing and information management and multimedia technology based on code design, blockchain based data protection and security, modern blockchain technology and applications. One best presentation was selected from each session, evaluated from: originality; applicability; technical Merit; qualities of PPT; English. The best one was announced at the end of each Session. We would like to express our sincere appreciation from the help of members from conference committee, reviewers, and workers. Thanks to their works, our conference could be held in good way. We also hope that you can benefit from this conference.
